Dr. Jaffer has more than 15 years of experience in neuro and spine surgery. Dr. Jaffer is fellowship trained in pediatric neurosurgery, cerebrospinal fluid disorders (hydrocephalus) and cancer nano medicine. Dr. Jaffer came to Northwest Indiana from Cleveland Clinic, one of the country’s most respected hospital systems. Dr. Jaffer was recognized by Cleveland Clinic for developing a new drug system for use in treating brain and spinal cord trauma. In 2013 and 2015, Cleveland Clinic awarded Dr. Jaffer with an Innovation Awards for his developments.

Dr. Jaffer is licensed by the medical boards of Ohio and Indiana. Dr. Jaffer is a member of the American Academy of Neurological and Orthopedic Surgeons (AANOS) and the American Associations of Neurological Surgeons (AANS).
