Dr. Andrews strives in returning his patients to a full and active lifestyle; Improving their quality of life is his main goal. He received his undergraduate degree at Purdue University and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Andrews completed his fellowship training at John Hopkins Hospital in joint reconstruction. He specializes in knee, hip and shoulder disorders. Treatment of these disorders can range from simple medications, physical therapy and injections to minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery to joint replacements, including complex revision surgery. Dr. Andrews offers minimally invasive techniques to allow a quicker and less painful recovery. Many joint replacements can even be done as outpatient procedures, allowing the patients to go home the same day.

Dr. Andrews developed the Joint Academy in 2008 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Hobart, Indiana and serves as their medical director.

Dr. Andrews has also developed and patented instruments to allow the surgeries to be more efficient and run more smoothly.
